<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">I am writing with a happy interjection into Spring break, to let everyone know that Dr. Carolyn Ponting will be joining our faculty in September!<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Some of you may have met Dr. Ponting when she interviewed in Fall 2024, or you may have attended/watched her colloquium then. She graduated with her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a minor in
Health Psychology from UCLA and is currently completing her 3<sup>rd</sup> year as a postdoctoral fellow at UC San Francico in the Department of Psychiatry.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Aptos",sans-serif">Dr. Ponting is a bilingual licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California, and her research and scholarship is focused on Latinx mental health using both qualitative and quantitative
