<p class="MsoNormal">As a reminder, <b>this Friday is a <u>combined DocSem</u></b>. We will be joined by CPSY alumnus Dr. Doug Gomez who will be presenting his research on the transition from the hospital back to school following a traumatic brain injury (see
more information below).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The combined DocSem is scheduled for <b><u>10:15-11:50am in 144 HEDCO</u></b>. We have the room
<i>starting at 10:00am</i>, so please arrive a few minutes early, if possible, to ensure we can start right at 10:15am.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Following Dr. Gomez’s talk and a Q&A, UO Comms will be available to take
<b>professional photos of individual students</b> who wish to be <b>listed on the UO CPSY website as a current student</b>. While the webpage does not yet exist, when finished, it will look something like

<p class="MsoNormal">The hospital to school transition has always been a challenging experience for students who have sustained a brain injury. Often communication between medical providers outside of the school, and medical providers/teachers/administration
within schools is lacking. These studies were completed to hopefully learn more about the perspectives of all of these very different groups involved in the Return to School (RTS) process and were intended to provide more awareness of the dynamics within the
RTS process. I plan to talk through each of these studies along with implications and also give some of my general thoughts on the types of collaborations that are possible as a researcher.<o:p></o:p></p>
