<p class="MsoNormal">Invitation to Participate – Asian American Supervisees Navigating Acts of Racism<o:p></o:p></p>

<p>Hello,<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>My name is Kevin Yabes and I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Counseling Psychology program at New Mexico State University. I am researching the training<b> </b>experiences of Asian American supervisees navigating racism in clinical supervision for my dissertation.
This study was approved by the New Mexico State University IRB (Protocol #2207006417).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>I am currently recruiting potential participants. If selected for the study, participants will be compensated with a $30 VISA gift card or $30 donation to a cause of their choice for their time and participation.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>Potential participants should meet the following criteria:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>1) be of at least 18 years of age;<br>
2) self-identify as first generation or later generation Asian American;<br>
3) be currently enrolled in or have completed a graduate training program in counseling, health service psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or related field;<br>
4) have received clinical supervision for at least two years;<br>
5) have experienced acts of racism by a clinical supervisor of a different race than Asian/Asian American who they have received supervision from for at least four months;<br>
6) must be receiving clinical supervision at the time of interview or have concluded clinical supervision no more than six months prior to the interview date; and<br>
7) be willing to participate in a recorded audio recorded Zoom interview.<o:p></o:p></p>
