Yet again, we have witnessed and experienced another act of severe violence enacted in one of our communities in our country. Again, this was one perpetrated by hatefulness and ethno-national racism, and this time, Buffalo NY was the target. This ethno-national
/ white racism has been ever-present in US culture, and in the last 6 years has been celebrated as part of a national and open political and social agenda.</div>

In a time of anxiety, uncertainty, and fear, we want you to know that we stand together - especially to support the most vulnerable among us, and especially to "be with" those of us in our own community who look and identify like the victims of this most recent
act of violence.</div>
