<div dir="ltr"><font face="arial, sans-serif">The <span>Student</span> <span>Affiliates</span> of <span>Seventeen</span> (<span>SAS</span>) <span>Executive</span> <span>Board</span> is pleased to share that we are seeking applicants for our <span>Executive</span> <span>Board</span> for
the 2021–2022 academic year. Students may apply from any APA-accredited doctoral program in counseling psychology or an affiliated master’s program.

Membership on the <span>SAS</span> <span>Executive</span> <span>Board</span> entails twice monthly participation in a 1-hour <span>Executive</span> <span>Board</span> meeting and additional time committed each week to fulfill the requirements of the member’s
position (e.g., team meetings, project preparation, communications, outreach). These tasks vary by position. Please see the position descriptions attached for more information.<br>
<br>
Past leadership experience <b>is not </b>required to be appointed to the <span>SAS</span> <span>Executive</span> <span>Board</span>. We are seeking students with motivation, enough availability for active weekly engagement, and a desire to learn and collaborate
with peers and professional colleagues in APA Division 17, the Society of Counseling Psychology (SCP). We <b>strongly encourage</b> students to apply who are:<br>

<li style="margin-left:15px">First- or second-year doctoral or master’s students<br>
</li><li style="margin-left:15px">From groups that continue to face marginalization and unequal representation in psychology and counseling psychology leadership (e.g., Black and Indigenous students and other students of Color [BIPOC], queer, transgender, and non-binary
students, international students, undocumented students, first-generation and low-income students, students with disabilities)</li></ul>
All applicants will be considered, and interested students are encouraged to apply.<br>

<span>SAS</span> is the official <span>student</span> organization of SCP. We represent over 1,000 <span>student</span> members in counseling psychology and affiliated fields. <span>SAS</span>’s mission is to support the professional development, leadership
