PSI provides professional development and mentoring experiences to<br>

advanced doctoral students of psychology and to recent doctoral recipients<br>

in psychology who are starting their careers.<br>

For both practice and research oriented folks<br>

Practice: Participants receive mentoring and training in the areas of <br>

program<br>

evaluations, innovative treatment models, organizational training<br>

curriculums, or grant proposals to fund initiatives for practice <br>

settings, such<br>

as: hospitals, community health centers, integrated care settings, or mental<br>

health clinics. All practice oriented projects must focus on issues <br>

affecting<br>

ethnic minority communities.<br>

Research: Participants receive mentoring and training to help them transform<br>

concepts into grant proposals, postdoctoral fellowship ideas, publications,<br>

innovative treatment models, or program evaluations. All<br>

projects must focus on issues affecting ethnic minority communities.<br>
