<p>As a liftetime member of the ICP Section and in my capacity as VP of International Affairs for Div 17, SCP, I want to offer due recognition to APA's advocacy on behalf of international students.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>I don't know how many of our ICP Section members are also members of SCP, so, for those of you who are SCP members and subscribed to Div17Discuss, you may be be seeing this for the second time. I apologize if the latter is the case.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>Please see the attached statement that APA's advocacy team submitted advocating for international students. I am frankly quite impressed with their thorough and strong stance. I would be curious to know what others think and perhaps we can dialogue more
about it at the upcoming meeting on Nov 18, as a follow up to the prior meeting of 10/21.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>Meanwhile, I thought I would forward a few of the other actions ICP Section co-chairs and I have advocated on our collective behalf, together with Jingqing Liu. I want to publicly thank all our members who participated by contributing their testimonials.
