Dear CPSY community,

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Aakanksha Lahoti who successfully defended her dissertation this afternoon. Her dissertation used longitudinal data to examine the effects of childhood maltreatment, perceived discrimination, and acculturation strategies on allostatic load in a sample of nearly 900 South Asian adults living in the U.S. Her dissertation committee included Drs. Josh Snodgrass, Alayna Park, Anne Marie Mauricio and myself.
