I commit to not sharing your status with anyone if you reveal it to me, but I also remind you that when interacting with faculty, staff, and offices around campus, you are never required to reveal your immigration status.

The University of Oregon is located on Kalapuya Ilihi, the traditional indigenous homeland of the Kalapuya people. The Kalapuya people were dispossessed of their indigenous homeland and were forcibly removed to the Coast Reservation in Western Oregon by the United States government and White colonists. Today, Kalapuya descendants are primarily citizens of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, and they continue to make important contributions to their communities, to the UO, to Oregon, and to the world.

Subject: cpsylist: Psychology of Radical Healing

Greetings all,

Please see the attached flyer for a one day online event April 17 focused on radical healing. Students, this is presented by the collective of counseling psychologists who wrote the articles you read in Intro to Counseling Psych as a Discipline about radical healing and radical hope (eg Brianna French, Della Mosley and others). The event is broken up into 1.5 hour segments and CEUs are available. I don’t see a cost for attendance and not sure if there is one.

Thank you Sam for sharing this opportunity!

Best,

Ellen
