Nichole Kelly and Liz Budd, Evergreen Associate Professors, will be presenting at the Oregon Public Health Association (OPHA) Weight Inclusive Health Section on Tuesday, January 13, 2:00-3:30 PM (PT). This presentation will explore some of the scientific limitations of BMI as a measure of health and discuss how weight stigma serves as a barrier to health equity. Attendees will leave with practical action steps to help reduce weight stigma and promote size-inclusive health practices.
