Dear Grad Students,

As the term wraps up, I wanted to share with you two local opportunities to present your research, especially since word on the street is that there won't be a Grad Forum this year.

  1.
What is Research, Portland: https://blogs.uoregon.edu/whatisresearch/cfp/. There is no poster session, but they are open to short presentations from grad students. The deadline is tomorrow, but the organizer is open to extensions—just email her if you are interested.
  2.
Annual NWPBIS Conference will be taking place April 29-May 1,<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://pbisnetwork.org/conference-2/__;!!C5qS4YX3!EWg9aRbudb1lZXKO--gp7vemV3ethO8UOHvqrS9twVV75l3PlmNolxDzUeJomv4Ea4KZ4YhyuQ9DroEVDJLr3g$> 2026 in Spokane, WA. For the first time, NWPBIS Conference is featuring a poster session. Here is the call for proposals <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeEBFGl5TEg-oINiAJ9JJ-htMGcU-WfbeZKV6P4drCQnDKdBQ/viewform__;!!C5qS4YX3!EWg9aRbudb1lZXKO--gp7vemV3ethO8UOHvqrS9twVV75l3PlmNolxDzUeJomv4Ea4KZ4YhyuQ9DroHVCKeh2Q$> . Accepted lead presenters get a free registration; special student pricing ($100), for general admission (if they are not presenting); travel reimbursement of $450 for any lead presenters who identify as person of color.

Have a restorative break!

Best,
Jen
