Dear CPSY Students,

This is a reminder that the first combined GradSem of the year is tomorrow (10/4) from 10:15-11:45am in the Clinical Services building (next to HEDCO), Room 250; per CPSY policies, all CPSY students are expected to attend. Food will be provided!

As an additional reminder, COE Comms will be coming to take professional photos. This will include taking cohort photos (if they were not taken in spring), clinical cohort photos for the CPC and CFC websites, and individual headshots for the CPSY student showcase page that COE Comms is building for us (see PREV's page for what ours will look like once it is built: https://education.uoregon.edu/prevsci-graduate-student-showcase).

Here is the agenda:
10:15-10:30am - Food/mingling/get to know each other activity
10:30-10:40am - Announcements from CPHS Department Head
10:40-10:50am - Review of faculty advisor/student roles
10:50-11:20am - SALA presentation
11:20-11:25am - Closing remarks (and mingling/food that's still available)
11:25-11:50am - New student/new cohort photos with COE Comms team

I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Best,
Jess

The University of Oregon is located on Kalapuya Ilihi, the traditional indigenous homeland of the Kalapuya people. Today, descendants are citizens of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon, and they continue to make important contributions in their communities, at UO, and across the land we now refer to as Oregon.

I support all students regardless of immigration status or country of origin. As a Dreamer Ally, I support Dreamer students and promote their sense of belonging and safety as they pursue their higher education goals. I commit to not sharing your status with anyone if you reveal it to me, but I also remind you that when interacting with faculty, staff, and offices around campus you are never required to reveal your immigration status.
