Dear Students:

We have openings on the University of Oregon Student Dreamer/Undocu Advisory Board for the 2024-2025 academic year.  Please see the description below and let me know if you have any questions. This is a paid stipend position that does not require work authorization. Please complete the survey application below by Tuesday, June 11th to be considered for this position.

SAB members will represent the voice of our diverse student body and support us in providing the resources and services that are relevant to undocumented students. Students can be either undergraduate and graduate students at the UO who may identify as Dreamer, DACA-mented, or undocumented Students.
The Dreamer Student Advisory Board meets twice monthly (meeting day and time to be determined, typically early evenings) in a closed conference room setting. Meetings will not be open to the public and discretion will be used.

Some responsibilities of being an UncocuSAB member include:

  *   provide input and feedback into Dreamers programs, initiatives, and services
  *   participate in evaluating resources and services for Dreamer students at the UO
  *   support in the creation and implementation of programming for undocumented students
  *   attend regularly scheduled meetings (twice a month; meeting day and time to be determined; based on class schedules)
  *   participate in programming specific to Dreamer and undocumented students
  *   provide recommendations to the UO Dreamers Working Group

Some benefits of being an UndocuSAB member:

  *   build community with students having shared identities in a private setting
  *   gain experience in program development and leadership skills
  *   participate in professional development opportunities
  *   opportunities for mentorship
  *   receive a stipend of $200 at the end of each term
