The Counseling Center at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is currently seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow position. This fellowship provides an exceptional early-career experience, allowing individuals to develop a comprehensive understanding of counseling services within a university setting and the broader context of Student Affairs.

Key Highlights:

  *   Engage in a variety of activities, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, program development, and outreach programming.
  *   Receive a minimum of 2 hours of clinical supervision per week and participate in training seminars, case conferences, on-call rotations, and staff activities.
  *   Contribute to a diverse client base and campus organizations, promoting respect for cultural, intellectual, psycho-social, and interpersonal differences.
  *   Opportunities for additional administrative duties and experiences outside the Counseling Center to enhance understanding of the role within Student Affairs and the university community.

Qualifications:

  *   Completed APA or CPA accredited counseling or clinical psychology doctoral program.
  *   Experience in providing clinical counseling services and crisis intervention, with additional experience in psycho-educational programming for a college-aged population.
