Please join me in congratulating Lue Williams on successfully defending her dissertation, “Influence of Parental Hostility and Socioeconomic Stress on Children’s Internalizing Symptom Trajectories from Childhood to Adolescence!”
Lue used data from two national studies, across three developmental periods (spanning early childhood to adolescence), within a bioecological theoretical framework and antiracist perspective. Outstanding work Lue, as enthusiastically noted by all dissertation committee members! (Drs. David DeGarmo, Jen Doty, Nick Allen, and me). Thank you to all faculty, peers, family, and friends who were able to join us in HEDCO and on Zoom today for this milestone accomplishment.
Leslie

The University of Oregon is located on Kalapuya Ilihi, the traditional indigenous homeland of the Kalapuya people. Today, descendants are citizens of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon, and they continue to make important contributions in their communities, at UO, and across the land we now refer to as Oregon.
