cpsylist: For Students: Update on CPSY 654 Supervision & Consultation Course.

Greetings student colleagues:

This is for current 3rd year students (4th year students starting fall, 2023). All others can delete this email now.

The fall course, CPSY 654 Supervision & Consultation, will be taught Monday evenings this coming fall, 2023. The listed time will be 4-8pm, but we have some flexibility on start time, depending on student schedules (e.g. we could start at 4:30, if helpful).

This is a change from past years (Tuesdays, Thursdays were other options). I wanted to reduce conflicts with advanced methods classes and other commitments.  So I wanted to let you know about this change asap (for planning for fall, 2023 advanced methods courses, and/or Externship placements for 2023-24 year).  As typical, this may cause other scheduling conflicts, so let me know about any. There is never a perfect time for any course, and keeping it to evening time helps.

To be sure, the fall class also includes a supervision “lab” on Monday mornings, from 11-12 AM.  This usually starts week 3 of the term.

Please plan accordingly.
