Dr. Thema Bryant is the president of APA. In the youtube link below, she talks about how to process the killing of Tyre Nichols. Its about 5.5 minutes long. This may be personally helpful to listen to and/or it may be helpful to share with clients, colleagues, or loved ones.  The continuous news of violence directed against individuals and communities of color is horrific, and her practical and caring advice is relevant to processing other events as well.
