Hola NLPA Familia,

The 2023 NLPA Conference Call for Proposals is now OPEN!  The deadline for submission is Monday, May 15th at 11:59 PM EST.  Please review the attached Call for Abstracts and Award Nominations for more details and information.

The 2023 NLPA Conference will be held in Chicago on October 26-28th at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel.  This year’s conference theme, “Walking with our Ancestres," focuses on honoring Indigenous wisdom and decolonizing our psychology toward our collective liberation.  We also are featuring three new recognitions related to the conference theme, and we encourage you to read about each award and recognition offered in the attached Call.

Presentations on the array of issues related to Latinx psychology are encouraged through symposia, workshops, poster sessions, and roundtable discussion groups.  Leadership development, trainings, and sessions focused on providing services to multicultural, multiracial, and multilingual Latinx groups are also encouraged.

The deadline for receipt of program proposals is Monday, May 15th at 11:59 PM EST.  The notification date for proposals submitted is July 1st.  All presenting authors must register for the conference and pay their applicable registration fees.  Presentation authors need not be NLPA members.

One individual should not submit more than two proposals as first author and no more than four presentations (including roles as moderator, discussant, or co-author) altogether.
