cpsylist: important Information regarding faculty interviews next week

Dear CPSY Student Colleagues,

Next week we are interviewing 2 candidates for the tenure track positions in our department (PREV and CPSY). At this time, we are interviewing one candidate for each of the two positions. Members of the search committee are Anne Marie Mauricio, Jen Doty, Wendy Hadley, Rhonda Neese (a faculty member in SPECS), Danette Roberson, and Lue Williams, and I serve as chair. Search committees are a lot of work, but work that contributes directly to our collective futures, and we have been delighted with the quality of candidates in the applicant pools. There are 4 points below regarding these searches:

1. Stay tuned for notice of a sharing session with Lue to hear about the search process and what she has learned. She does an outstanding job of representing student interests! Danette will have a similar session with staff, so that each  constituent group can gain insight about the process.  These searches are ongoing, so the sharing sessions may not take place until later winter term.

2. Please attend the following events (2 per candidate) next Wednesday and Thursday. You will have student-only time with each candidate and FOOD, as long as you rsvp by tomorrow 4 pm! The job descriptions are hyperlinked below, and candidate CVs are attached.
