Good morning everyone!
In past years, CPSY doc students have helped CFT students complete their clinical exam role-play competency at the end of their first year. It is a great consultation experience, and a chance for you to both role-play and share feedback from your training experience and expertise to help earlier career students. In past years, when I taught Supervision and Consultation in spring term, this was a component of that course.
This is an especially good experience for 4th and 5th year students.
Dr. Tiffany Brown is asking for volunteers to role-play clients for the beginning practicum (pre-prac). Please connect with Tiffany directly if you are willing and able to help at tiffanyb@ uoregon.edu
See direct request and time slots, below. This is a fun and helpful experience!
Thanks all,
Benedict

Subject: Skills Exam Role Players
Hi Benedict,
Beginning Practicum has absorbed the old Comps II Applied Skills Exam. I am looking for role players so that I don’t have to step in as role player and evaluator. ☺ Can you put a call out to your students to see if anyone can fill these time slots? Looking for 2 role players per time slot and they can offer feedback, too, if open to it. That is always a great add to the experience for the new therapists. I have looped the CPSY students into the exam, too, so that all Beg Prac students are participating. Location TBA -- in the clinic or a HEDCO room.
Thank you so much!
Tiffany
