Subject: Submit an Abstract to ISTSS
Hello,
My name is Faith Nomamiukor and I am a student section chair for the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS).<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/istss.org/am22/home__;!!C5qS4YX3!QA9HltWp6Ba10Kh9V2OhFtob4NY3uPhqGlMIbRQBlADmrL0VeQc8wuc0la5YOnw$> ISTSS is having its 38th Annual Meeting, and we are hoping that you could forward this email to your department's psychology students, so that they may be encouraged to submit an abstract to our conference.
The theme of this year’s meeting is “Trauma as a Transdiagnostic Risk Factor Across the Lifespan.” ISTSS is looking for presentations that cut across traditional diagnostic categories and adopt dimensional and multiple-levels-of-analysis approaches to understanding trauma-related psychopathology, as well as research that addresses multimorbidity in the context of trauma and treatments designed to address comorbidity in the aftermath of trauma. Learn more about the theme and submission guidelines on the ISTSS website<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/istss.org/am22/home__;!!C5qS4YX3!QA9HltWp6Ba10Kh9V2OhFtob4NY3uPhqGlMIbRQBlADmrL0VeQc8wuc0la5YOnw$>, and students can submit their abstract on the abstract submission website<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.abstractscorecard.com/cfp/submit/login.asp?EventKey=RYJVVVDO__;!!C5qS4YX3!QA9HltWp6Ba10Kh9V2OhFtob4NY3uPhqGlMIbRQBlADmrL0VeQc8wuc0YyZRDGY$>.
If selected, students would present their work in person to trauma experts from around the globe at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, November 9-12, 2022. The deadline to submit an abstract is Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. U.S. Pacific Daylight Time.
Sincerely,
Faith Nomamiukor
ISTSS Student Section Chair
