I support all students regardless of immigration status or country of origin. As a member of the UO Dreamers Working Group, I support Dreamer students and promote their sense of belonging and safety as they pursue their higher education goals. For more information and resources please visit our Dreamers page (https://blogs.uoregon.edu/dreamers/) and the Immigration FAQs page (http://international.uoregon.edu/immigration_faq ). Remember, when interacting with faculty, staff, and offices around campus you are never required to reveal your status.

Krista and Ellen,

Would you all be willing to share information about my upcoming workshop on safer chest binding for TGNC clients? I’m really excited about this workshop, and have student rates, as well as free slots for folks who are BIPOC and queer and would love help in advertising it.

Here’s some information:

Hello everyone! It’s been a busy weekend over here for me at VCC!

I am super excited to share that I will be hosting a workshop on Friday, November 19th, 2021 from 10am-12pm entitled Intro To Safer Chest Binding 101. This workshop is open to anyone, and is designed for providers who work with trans and gender non conforming clients.

This work started during my time at @cwu_counseling_services and has since expanded into a two hour workshop.

Tickets range from 10.00 (financial need) to 75.00 for those with access to generational wealth). There are also donation options to me, Dr Vargas, as well to an org that serves Black TGNC youth and Black Trans SWers.

This event will occur via zoom, and will have closed captioning available.
