cpsylist: Request for dissertation survey participants for study on relationships, identity, stress, coping in Asian Americans

Hello AAPA and DOSAA colleagues,

My name is Stephanie Takeuchi and I am a doctoral candidate at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. I am currently recruiting participants to complete a 5-15 minute survey for my dissertation. Please see below for more information regarding my study.

You are invited to participate in a voluntary online study conducted by Stephanie Takeuchi, M.A., under the direction of her dissertation committee: Lauren Shapiro, Ph.D. (lshapiro at wi.edu<mailto:lshapiro at wi.edu>) and Sydnie Yoo, Ph.D. (syoo at wi.edu<mailto:syoo at wi.edu>).


In order to participate, you must be 18 years of age or older, identify as Asian American, and reside in the United States. Study participants may opt to be entered into a lottery to win a $50 Visa gift card.



If you volunteer to participate, you will be asked to fill out a series of questionnaires and surveys. The total length of time for survey completion is approximately 5 to 15 minutes. The survey will ask you about how you feel in romantic relationships, stressors related to being an ethnic minority in the United States, and coping strategies.

This study is voluntary. If you volunteer to be in this study, you may withdraw your participation at any time. You are not waiving any legal claims, rights or remedies because of your participation in this research study.
