Dear CPSY students:
Many of you, past and present, get confused about how to count your work as FHS GE supervisors on the APPI internship application. It is confusing because the APPI internship application categories change often.
After consulting with Ellen and Jean, here is where you should be counting your hours on the current APPI application. The Sup of Sup Supervisor, or Jean Kjellstrand, can sign your Time2Track hours if you need them signed.
Advisors, thank you for reading this information too so that you can remind/advise your students.
FHS supervision hours should go under “Other Psychological Experience with Students and/or Organizations” under the sub-category with the same name, “Other Psychological Experience with Students and/or Organizations” followed by descriptive information (e. g., Provision of individual and group supervision of undergraduate Family and Human Services majors as they completed internships in clinical/community settings).
Thank you,
Krista, Ellen and Jean
