The Elizabeth Munsterberg Koppitz Fellowship program supports graduate research projects and scholarships in child psychology.

Program Goals: Nurture excellent young scholars for careers in areas of psychology, such as child-clinical, pediatric, school, educational and developmental psychopathology. Support scholarly work contributing to the advancement of knowledge in these areas.

Funding Specifics: Support for one year only. Only one application accepted from any one institution in any given year. Tuition waiver/coverage from home institution.

APF Queen-Nellie Evans Scholarship: $4,000

Due November 15, 2020

The Queen-Nellie Evans Scholarship will recognize outstanding minority graduate students who have a demonstrated commitment to improving the conditions of marginalized communities. Preference is given to those who are preparing for a career in academia, clinical service delivery, or public policy and see their work as helping to improve the condition of marginalized communities after the completion of their graduate studies. Both master’s and doctorate students are welcome to apply.

Div. 12/ Theodore Blau Early Career Award for Outstanding Contribution to Professional Clinical Psychology: $2,000

Due November 19, 2020

$2,000 to honor a clinical psychologist for professional accomplishments in clinical psychology.

Nominees should be no more than 10 years post doctoral degree.

Be a psychologist with an EdD, PsyD or PhD from an accredited university.

Individuals who represent diversity in race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability and sexual orientation. Candidates can be simultaneously considered for multiple awards, although a psychologist may receive only one Div. 12 award in any given year.

No voting members of the Div. 12 Board of Directors will be eligible to receive awards from the division while serving their term. Self-nomination is permitted.
