Thank you, Ellen, for sending your email and the poem yesterday that so powerfully conveyed the horror we continue to watch. And, thank you Jess for sharing this 'light in the dark.' Congratulations, Reid, Peter, and Nathan! Hope for the future is so easy to lose sight of in such darkness.

Dear members of the CPSY community,

Please join me in congratulating...

Reid Thompson Cañas, recipient of the 2020 Nontraditional Student Award from the Division of Student Life. The Nontraditional Student Award recognizes the breadth and depth of experience and contributions made by nontraditional students as they balance academics and other work and family responsibilities.

Peter Ehlinger & Nathan Mather, both 2020 recipients of the John R. Moore Scholarship from the Office of the Dean of Students. The John R. Moore Scholarship is presented to students who excel in their contributions to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and allied (LGBTQIA+) community at the University of Oregon.

Way to go Reid, Peter, and Nathan! Congratulations to all!!!
