cpsylist: Division 45 Launches HOPE Fund - For All Student Members

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Division 45 Executive Committee, I am excited to announce the creation of the Division 45 HOPE Fund for undergraduates, graduates and interns.  The Executive Committee of Division 45 developed the HOPE Fund to provide financial support to Division 45 student members experiencing hardships related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Of all the segments of our Division 45 community, the leadership of the Division recognizes that students are facing some of the hardest financial challenges due to the pandemic - particularly our undocumented and/or international students who are ineligible for federal support.

Although our resources are limited, the Executive Committee is strongly committed to using the resources we do have towards advancing our student community. Therefore, it is our collective hope that these funds – which do not require repayment – can provide some measure of financial relief and serve as a tangible act of support for our student members.
