Dear colleagues,

We met with a few faculty and staff members from various departments, who were first-generation students, on February 18. They identified that the visibility of first-generation faculty and staff is crucial for student success.

Our next step is to reach out to the first-generation graduate students (i.e., the first in the immediate family to attend a four-year university) and seek their input.

Please share the attached message with your graduate students. We are asking the students who identify themselves as first-generation students to complete the form.
