Subject: BIPOC Supervisee & want to enter to win $25 Amazon gift card? (Study Recruitment)
Dear Dr. Hawley:
Hello! I hope this e-mail finds you as well as possible. We are wondering if you would please be willing to share our study on clinical supervision, described below, with the students in your program. We are hoping to recruit participants who have recently completed or are soon to complete their fall supervised clinical experience. Please see below for more information on the study; thank you very much for your consideration.
--
Our research team is conducting a study on the experiences of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) trainees in clinical supervision with White supervisors.
We are also offering a raffle to win one of four $25 Amazon gift cards. As required by Georgia law, this raffle is open to anyone and you are not required to complete the survey to be eligible to participate.
If you are currently a trainee in an applied mental health field (e.g., counseling psychology, clinical psychology, mental health counseling, social work, school counseling, school psychology, and rehabilitation counseling), are currently engaged in both counseling (as a counselor/therapist) and clinical supervision, identify as BIPOC, are receiving supervision from a White supervisor, and are interested in participating in this study, we hope that you consider completing the survey.
Participation is voluntary, and your answers will be anonymous. The survey is expected to take approximately 20-30 minutes. There are no expected risks to this study. The benefit of this study is a contribution to better understanding factors that influence cross-cultural clinical supervision, which may help inform training and support of counselor trainees.
Please follow the below link to consider participation in the survey and/or raffle:
