Nice, Peter. Reassuring to see the pandemic hasn’t robbed every one of their wit.

Dear Ellen, Kavitha, and all,

May I suggest UO CPSY-Nor’easter? Taking the East Coast by storm!

Dear Kavitha and all,

That is an excellent point!
Actually, as someone who tries to practice critical self-reflection, I did consider this very carefully. For at least 4 seconds.
I was going to suggest we all refer to DC as UO CPSY-Easter.

But then I thought about possible outcomes:
(a) the appearance of a Christian bias,
(b) an implication that rabbits were involved in successful DC matches, or
(c) promoting a savior complex among those headed to DC.
These all seemed like bad outcomes!

Naturally I am open to alternatives. UO CPSY-Eastest? UO CPSY-Bigeast?
: )

Ellen (I will not implicate the rest of the faculty in my questionable humor….)

The few of us actually moving ALL the way to the East might resent that nomenclature.

Just saying for a friend :-P

Congratulations to everyone! We did it!

Dear CPSY Community,

We hope that you are feeling well and being safe in these challenging and strange times. In all of the adjusting and moment to moment
problem solving it seems that we never sent out the final internship match list, so here it is. This confirms all rumors that UO CPSY has
officially taken over the Denver area, which will now be referred to as UO CPSY-East.

We are proud of you 11, and your hard work that led to these outstanding placements! We will have to get creative about an end of year,
social-distance-appropriate send off. But please join me in denial for just a few more weeks….

Congratulations again to all of you!!!
