cpsylist: Update on Supervision class, fall 2019

Dear students:
Here is a Quick update on fall: CPSY 654: Supervision and Consultation class. It will now be offered BOTH this coming year, fall 2019, and the next year, fall, 2020.

If you are going to be a fifth year student next year (or beyond) and have not taken this class, plan on taking the class this coming fall, 2019.

If you are going to be a fourth year student next year and you entered the program with a bachelor's degree - and so next year is not your final year in residence - please wait a year and take the Supervision class in fall, 2020.

This should facilitate everyone's schedules and needs, albeit maybe not your preference. Generally, consistent yearly offering will help everyone plan going forward.

In fall, the Supervision class is scheduled for Thursdays from 4-8 pm. You will also have a supervision lab experience at a different time of the week - to be arranged. So, we will not meet for this full 4 hours on Thursday. I scheduled the class this way to give us flexibility in our beginning and end time (e.g., if someone has a commitment off campus until 4pm we can start a bit later than 4pm, if needed).
