Promoting Healthy Masculinities:
A Community Dialogue

When: Saturday February 2, from 3 to 5 pm

Where: St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1465 Coburg Road, Eugene

Cost: Free to the Public

By promoting healthy masculinities, we hope to improve the health and well being of boys and men and reduce the potential of male perpetrated violence toward people of all genders.

Presenters and panelists from our community will address the following questions:

  *   What are the challenges and issues that men face?

  *   What are healthy masculinities?

  *   What does our society expect and need from men?

  *   How can we help boys and men become who they aspire to be and who our community needs them to be?


Everyone is invited: parents, educators, mental health professionals, people of all genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities and other identities, and all concerned community members.

Sponsored by The McKenzie River Men's Center and Center for Community Counseling, with the generous support of the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation.

Refreshments will be provided.
