Subject: APA Koppitz Fellowship

Dear DGSs and Grad Coordinators in Psychology, School Psychology, and Counseling Psychology:

I'm writing about the APA Elizabeth Munsterberg Koppitz Fellowship for graduate students in child psychology: Do you know of anyone in your program who is applying? Each university can only have one applicant (see http://www.apa.org/apf/funding/koppitz.aspx), so if there are multiple students interested, we need to collect application materials and decide which student to put forward.

In order to be considered, the following must be emailed to me no later than October 15th:

>From the student:
-At least a draft of the documents required by the AFP:
-5-page statement listing goals/background/methods/outcomes
-Project timeline
-Detailed budget
-Abbreviated CV (not to exceed five (5) pages)

>From the Department Head or DGS:
-An email indicating the department's support of this student's candidacy for the fellowship

We will decide upon a nominee by October 31st; that person will then have until November 15th to submit their completed application via the AFP website.
