Where: Erb Memorial Union, Redwood Auditorium

The University of Oregon's College of Education (COE) invites you to join us for a panel discussion on the centrality of education science in the contemporary research university. This panel discussion will focus on the significant role that education research plays in the positioning and value of modern universities, and will highlight the innovative research originating from our COE and the critical role of education research in the 21st century.

This event will feature comments and discussion from a panel of esteemed experts and stakeholders:

  *   Catherine Bradshaw, University of Virginia
  *   Erin Chaparro, University of Oregon
  *   Darleen Opfer, RAND Corporation
  *   Frank Worrell, University of California, Berkeley
After the panel presentation, please join us for a reception and learn more about the important work happening in the research and outreach units affiliated with the COE. The reception will feature light hors d'oeuvres, coffee, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
