cpsylist: self-nominations to the COE Dean's Advisory Board for 2018-19

Dear CSPY Students,

This email is about the Dean's Student Advisory Board (DSAB), an important forum for student input.  Dean Kamphaus will meet with the DSAB, once per term during the academic year.  The function of the DSAB is to provide the Dean with information about students' needs and experiences, advise him on a broad range of College matters, and to provide a forum for him to communicate important College information that affects students.

The CPSY faculty extend a big thank you to Matt Jones, who has served on the committee through last spring, representing CPSY students.  For the coming year, we the faculty are inviting current CPSY students to submit nominations for this important position, by Tues., 10/9 close of business (COB).  Please include a few sentences outlining goodness-of-fit for the position.  You may self-nominate or nominate a student colleague to the position.  (If you nominate a colleague, please determine their willingness to serve in the role before forwarding their name.)

The faculty will then review nominations and make a selection shortly thereafter.  Thank you in advance for considering to serve in this important position!
