My name is Kelsey Kangos, and I am a doctoral candidate in the Division of Counseling Psychology at the University at Albany. Under the supervision of Dr. Alex Pieterse, I am currently conducting a study to help fulfill the requirement of my doctoral dissertation. I invite you to participate in a study examining lesbian, gay, and bisexual Christian clients’ experiences in psychotherapy/counseling. This study has been approved by the University at Albany’s Institutional Review Board, Protocol # 18-X-026-01. The purpose of this study is to better understand how lesbian, gay, and bisexual Christian clients experience psychotherapy/counseling. I am seeking adults (18 and older) within the United States who identify as lesbian, gay, or bisexual and Christian (any denomination) who are currently receiving or have received individual counseling services within the last year. The online study, including demographic questionnaire, should take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

For every 10 people who complete the research materials, one person will be randomly chosen to receive a $20 Amazon gift card.
