cpsylist: GE Information Request for SALA Website

Hi Kaitlin,

I hope you are having a great week so far! Thank you for your inquiry, what an awesome idea to create a website four current and past CPSY students! That seems like a super helpful resource. I have answered your questions below. Of not, I am a first-year fellow, and do not have a formal GE. Hopefully this information is still useful for you. Since I am a first-year in the program, I answered questions 4-7.

4.  First-Year Fellowship Award
5. I was nominated for this fellowship by the CPSY faculty and initially heard about the fellowship through my advisor.
6.  I did not formally apply for this position,
7. My general advice would be to consult with older students in the program, your advisor, and faculty about the opportunities and responsibilities involved with all of the GE's we are eligible to apply for. I would also suggest being proactive, rather than waiting until the last minute to avoid unnecessary stress. Overall though, it would be super helpful to have a streamlined resource, such as the website you have proposed to create. Thank you so much to the SALA executive board for doing this!
