Subject: Summer Academy to Inspire Learning (SAIL) 2018

Hello.  Dr. Jessica Cronce, FHS Program Director, and I are working together to recruit CPHS faculty who would like to participate in the 2018 Summer Academy to Inspire Learning (SAIL) https://sail.uoregon.edu/ .

SAIL is scheduled in July, with the specific day for FHS on Wednesday, July 18th, from 10 am - 3 pm.  There are four 1-hour time slots to choose from.

This year the COE has come up with the theme of "Being a Change Maker."

For each session, it is suggested that there be no more than 15 minutes of direct instruction, followed by an activity and discussion.  A draft of this year's schedule is attached.

If you are willing to participate in SAIL, on behalf of  CPHS and the COE, please let me know by Tuesday, May 1st.
