Dear Student Colleagues,

Please remember that you cannot provide one minute of clinical services if you do not have CURRENT student liability insurance.

If you are registered for practicum, externship, supervision, or internship or are otherwise engaging in clinical service provision (eg all second year students and beyond), this liability insurance is not optional, it is required. Be sure you have coverage TODAY and keep it current; if you have any doubt that a record of your current insurance is on file, send your proof of insurance to cpsy at uoregon.edu<mailto:cpsy at uoregon.edu> with a request that this be placed in your file.

>From our website:
STUDENT LIABILITY INSURANCE
Every year a current copy must be in your student file if you are taking practicum, externship, or supervision. The documentation
must show the name of the person insured as well as the policy period effective dates. You may provide a printed copy of the
page that contains the necessary information, or send an electronic copy of your policy to the academic coordinator
(forwarding the email with the pdf attachment of the policy that the insurance company sends you).
Most students obtain Student Liability Insurance through APA Insurance Trust. The student policy is $35.00 annually.

Peace,
Ellen

I support all students regardless of immigration status or country of origin. As a member of the UO Dreamers Working Group, I support Dreamer students, promote their sense of belonging and safety as they pursue their higher education goals. For more information and resources please visit our Dreamers page (https://blogs.uoregon.edu/dreamers/) and the Immigration FAQs page (http://international.uoregon.edu/immigration_faq ). Remember, when interacting with faculty, staff, and offices around campus you are never required to reveal your status.
