Subject: [CCPTP] study recruitment

Dear Counseling Psychology Training Directors:
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Dr. Arlette Ngoubene-Atioky, assistant professor of counseling psychology in the Graduate Psychology program at Chatham University. I am contacting you as the primary investigator of a study on the factors that lead to the academic functioning of Black students enrolled in counseling psychology doctoral programs. In consideration of the current sociopolitical climate and the consistent need to increase diversity representation in counseling psychology, my colleagues and I felt that it was imperative to investigate the factors that may lead to the academic functioning of Black students in counseling psychology doctoral programs in hope that it would improve the recruitment and retention of these students.
We would sincerely appreciate that you distribute the invitation letter below to anyone who will meet the criteria of our study. Additional information on the study is also described below. Please contact me if you have any questions or comments.
Thank you so much in advance.
Take care,

Arlette Ngoubene-Atioky, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Graduate Psychology
