Greetings Clinic Directors, Training Directors, and Supervisors!
My name is Mercedes Fernández Oromendia, MA and I am a Counseling Psychology doctoral candidate advised by Andrés Consoli, PhD at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). I am recruiting participants for my dissertation, which explores the personal style of clinical supervisors. The purpose of the study is to evaluate a tool to further supervisor’s self-reflection and to identify commonalities and differences in style among supervisors.
I am inviting you to complete a brief survey (less than 15 minutes!). Once done, you may enter a raffle for a $20 Amazon gift card (one gift card will be raffled per 10 participants on a rolling basis).
You are eligible to participate in the study if you:
1. Are a licensed clinician (masters or doctoral level).
2. Have supervised graduate students, interns, or post-docs for at least two (2) years.
To participate, click on this link: SupervisorPersonalStyle<http://ucsbeducation.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eXN8xQ5f8euxyXH>
The survey has been constructed utilizing principles of inclusive design and universal access. Nonetheless, if you run into difficulties, please accept my apologies and notify me in order to improve its design and access. The survey has been approved by UCSB’s Institutional Review Board (Protocol Number: 4-17-0069; hsc at research.ucsb.edu<mailto:hsc at research.ucsb.edu>). Participation is voluntary and can be terminated at any time.
If possible, please share this survey invitation with other clinic directors and supervisors in the field.
Thank you for your time and your help!
Mercedes Fernández Oromendia, MA.
