Position Title
Part-time Postdoctoral Intern

Salary Range
$15,000 for 11-month period
Position Description
This postdoctoral position is for a psychology doctoral graduate who is seeking advanced training in providing psychological services in a community college. The position is half time (20 hours/week) for one academic year. The start date is August 28, 2017. The end date is July 27, 2018. The duties include: providing brief individual counseling; crisis intervention; case management; consultation and outreach with students, faculty, and staff; and other duties as assigned.
The postdoctoral position is designed to provide both generalist training and specialized experience working with a diverse population of community college students regarding a range of mental health and developmental concerns. The postdoctoral clinician is supervised by a licensed psychologist.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a completed a Ph.D or Psy.D in counseling or clinical psychology before the start of the contract.
Desired Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates from APA-accredited academic programs that have completed APA-accredited internships. The strongest applicants will demonstrate a professional commitment and interest in university or college counseling centers and student development.
