I am a doctoral candidate who is conducting research on the experiences of new and seasoned clinicians who work with a traumatized population.  I am hopeful you will pass this study on to your students, and colleagues.  Thank you in advance for your support.


Greetings!

You are being invited to participate in a research study supported by Texas Woman’s University (Protocol #: 19475).  The purpose of the study is to examine the factors associated with vicarious trauma experiences for both clinicians-in-training and seasoned clinicians.  Completion of the surveys takes approximately 15-30 minutes and requires one time participation.

Eligibility requirements for participants:

(a) Age of 18 years or older.

(b) Credentialed as a licensed professional counselor, licensed psychologist, licensed clinical social worker, OR current enrollment in a graduate program that prepares students for these professional licensures.

(c) Are currently receiving (or have received in the past) training on traumatized clients or populations.

Participation in this study is strictly voluntary and participants may withdraw from the study at any time without penalty.

If you are aware of other individuals who meet the criteria for this study, please feel free to send this announcement to them.
