cpsylist: GE opening for Spring!

Hi all,

I just wanted to let everyone know that my current GE position is 
opening up for Spring (I'm switching to a research fellowship with the 
SNAP Lab). Here is the listing: http://gradschool.uoregon.edu/node/2664  
Applications are due Friday, March 17!

The position is primarily providing Canvas support to faculty and GEs, 
as well testing different aspects of Canvas and writing up documentation 
("how-to" guides). They'd love someone who has used Canvas as a 
TA/instructor and has good people skills -- I've used many a micro skill 
while helping instructors frustrated with technology glitches ;) Clear 
writing skills are also important, and tech knowledge is helpful but not 
essential (I was not a Canvas expert and learned the ins and outs once I 
started).

I believe everyone in CPSY has a GE or other funding through the rest of 
this year, but please share with students in other programs who might be 
a good fit. The position is listed for Spring but it's very possible 
they will keep on the person they hire for next year too. Anyone 
considering applying is welcome to contact me with questions! I'd also 
be happy to put in a good word for you :)
