Subject: Student or other qualified bilingual facilitator to work with CEQP?

Hello all,

I work with Charles Martinez at the Center for Equity Promotion. We have a project--“Proyecto Juntos”--which is an IES Goal 2 project in which we’re rolling out an intervention with Latino families and school staff in the local school districts this fall. Unfortunately, we still do not have a facilitator for the Bethel district and, though ideally such a person would be a district employee, the district has been unable to find someone with the required qualifications and the time to serve in this role.

Do any of you have graduate students or others who might be interested and qualified? Their involvement in this project would begin immediately for training. The intervention itself will begin in mid to late October. Qualifications:


  *   fully bilingual (Spanish-English) and preferably bicultural
  *   experience facilitating large groups of parents and school professionals
  *   experience with research projects that involve interventions
