APPIC Internship Matching Program
Applicant Registration for the APPIC Match
To: Ellen Hawley McWhirter, PhD
Institution: University of Oregon
Program: Counseling PhD
APPIC DPA Number: 444
Your students must correctly identify your doctoral program when registering for the Match.
Information about the APPIC Internship Matching Program (the "Match") for internship positions beginning in 2018 is now available on the Match web site at natmatch.com/psychint<https://click.pstmrk.it/2sm/natmatch.com%2Fpsychint/Ge1_fQ/nnga/f744vkaTjo/YXBwaWM>. Applicants can also now register for the Match on that web site.
According to information provided to us by APPIC, your doctoral program is an APPIC Doctoral Program Associate (DPA) for the 2017-2018 academic year.
As a DPA, you will be able to monitor your students' registration for and participation in the Match, and you will be notified of the Match results for each of your students.
Each of your students must correctly identify your doctoral program when they register for the Match. You should provide your program's APPIC DPA Number, shown at the beginning of this message, to each student from your program who is eligible to participate in the Match.
Please note that your APPIC DPA Number may only be used by students enrolled in the specific doctoral program listed above, and may not be used by students enrolled in other doctoral programs within your department, school, or university.
In December 2017 you will receive a list of students registered for the Match who have indicated they are from your doctoral program. In addition, beginning in December a list of registered students from your program will be available online and updated daily. This will enable you to confirm which of your students have registered for the Match, and to ensure that each of your students has identified your doctoral program correctly.
If you have any questions at this time on any aspect of the APPIC Match, please contact NMS directly.
