CPSY Student Colleagues,

As you know, UO Counseling Psychology is one of the graduate clinical training programs subject to the Oregon Health Authority legislation described http://arcweb.sos.state.or.us/pages/rules/oars_400/oar_409/409_030.html. Dr. Ruth Bichsel developed on-line modules for the required trainings in HIPPA, Bloodborne pathogens, and OSHA safety required by this legislation. We are making these modules available to you at no cost. These were in Blackboard last spring. Now, please use the following directions to access the modules whenever you wish:

The delivery system is Obaverse. Create a free Obaverse account (https://www.obaverse.net/). Enroll yourself in the course called "Doctoral Counseling Psychology Program Training OSHA" and enter the keyword "OSHACOE." You will be able to access the modules any time.  Read the materials for each unit, pass a test (3 attempts allowed), and print documentation that you passed. When you have completed all of the modules, scan your documentation and give it to Becca. Be sure that your name and dates are on the documentation before you turn it in. At this point I am not giving any deadlines as I don't know when you may wish to work in a site that will request this documentation. But, you know, get it done at some point!

Please read the 2015-16 program handbook appendix about OHA's rules before asking me questions :) I will discuss this further at our opening docsem, there are no changes in the legislation. Let me know if there is a problem accessing the modules and we will work out any issues as quickly as possible.
