CPSY Students on summer externship or enrolled in other summer credits,

Please note that faculty must submit summer grades by noon next Tuesday. However, none of us will be in our offices waiting for documentation at 11 a.m. on Tuesday :)

All summer externship documentation (logs initialed by your supervisor, evaluations that YOU have signed AND that your supervisor has signed) must be turned in to me by 3 pm Monday to give me time to review your materials and enter your grades. As always, turn in all materials together, not piecemeal and include notes/a coversheet if, for example, you are submitting materials for multiple sites. If you forget to sign your evaluation you will receive an incomplete. It would be awesome if you could turn in your materials this week!

If you are continuing your externship placement fall term, you must still submit logs for your summer work if you wish to receive a grade for the summer.

If you have only just recently begun your externship, and have so few hours that your supervisor does not think a regular evaluation is warranted yet, then ask your supervisor to prepare a signed statement to this effect that also indicates that they have no concerns about your performance as yet. You could prepare this for your supervisor if that is ok with your supervisor, but your supervisor must sign it.

Enjoy these last days of summer!
:)
Ellen

Subject: Summer grades due Sep 13 at noon

Dear Faculty/GTFs Teaching Summer 2016 Courses:

This is a friendly reminder that summer grades are due at noon on Tuesday, September 13. Summer rosters are currently open for grading in DuckWeb. You received this message because you are listed as an instructor for one or more ungraded summer courses.

Please follow these steps for grading:

*         Log into DuckWeb,

*         Navigate to "Faculty Menu"

* Click the "Course Administration Center" link.

* Select the term to view your course(s) to be graded

* Select "Enter Grades" from the action menu for the course you wish to grade

Please follow this protocol even if you are not teaching in the classroom this term; some of you may only have students enrolled in open-ended courses (e.g., research, thesis, dissertation) who will still need to be graded.

Remember, there is no "Submit" button for open-ended (Individualized Study) courses. Please scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Grade Changes" after you enter your students' grades. The registrar's office will submit all individualized study grades at the end of the grading period on September 13.

Please note: DuckWeb is down for regular maintenance on Friday evenings from 7 p.m. to midnight.

If you need help with online grading, click on the following link for information and resources: http://registrar.uoregon.edu/faculty-staff/entering-grades (this link is also available directly from your DuckWeb screens).

Remember that for students awarded Incompletes in undergraduate courses, those marks will automatically turn to an "F" or "N" if not made up within a year from the term the "I" is assigned. The policy regarding Incompletes can be found here: http://registrar.uoregon.edu/current-students/incomplete-policy

Again, grades are due on Tuesday, September 13 at noon. If you have grading questions or issues, please contact any of the following:

*         Registrar's Office (registrar at uoregon.edu<mailto:registrar at uoregon.edu> or 541-346-2935)

* Scott Morrell, Assistant Registrar for Registration and Academic History (smorrell at uoregon.edu<mailto:smorrell at uoregon.edu> or 541-346-2941)

* Brian Lowery, Associate Registrar for Operations (blowery at uoregon.edu<mailto:blowery at uoregon.edu> or 541-346-7344)
Thank you,

Brian Lowery
