Hello,

After some communication with the Center for Multicultural Excellence in my
GE role, I thought I'd share this useful resource called tarea time. Tarea
time is a resource particularly for Latinx students. This time may be useful
for grads and undergrads as a space for homework, community building,
advising, and mentoring opportunities more generally. I thought it may be
useful info for those interested in utilizing the resource, mentoring, or
referring students or clients . Below I included the Associate Director of
the CMAE's description of tarea time and attached a promotional flyer that
has additional information.

"Tarea Time, is at it sounds, homework time; but also a time to connect and
build community. Karla and Sam Matta from the Career Center have a career
professional who plans on attending to help students with resumes and
practice questions for interviews. We welcome graduate students to come and
study or mentor our undergrads as well!"

Best,
