cpsylist: late breaking externship opp winter term

Please read below regarding a brand new opportunity for a winter externship. Please contact Dr. Liz Asta with any questions about the externship. Please consult with your advisor about feasibility with your work load prior to making any commitments.

Individual Externship at the UCTC for Winter Term 2017


*         Cary a caseload of 8-10 clients to see eight individual clients per week

*         Receive one hour of supervision by UCTC staff person

*         Attend UCTC clinical team meetings on Thursdays from 9:30-10:50 every other week

*         Remaining time of externship would be completing clinical documentation

*         Due to office space, clinical hours would likely need to be provided on Mondays, Tuesday mornings, Wed afternoons, Thursday afternoons or Fridays

*         If interested, please email Liz Asta at easta at uoregon.edu<mailto:easta at uoregon.edu> a brief cover letter expressing interest and noting what you would like to get from an externship experience at the UCTC, and also provide a copy of your CV with references

*         Considering the close timeline, I will be looking to set-up a brief half an hour interview in the next couple of weeks, or over the break period if folks are in town

*         If you are selected, you would then need to register for an externship credit for winter term

*         This is open to any CPSY student that has completed their adult practicum. You did not have to complete your practicum at the UCTC to enroll in the externship.
